TOKYO \u2014 Honda Motor Co. has set a new Guinness World Record after 832 of its sports cars took part in a parade in central Japan, the company announced Monday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The record-breaking procession was held Saturday at the Suzuka Circuit in Mie Prefecture to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the S660, the two-seat convertible sports minicar whose production ended in 2022.<\/p>\n

The event was organized by a community of S660 owners, and Honda employees involved in the model\u2019s development and manufacturing also joined the parade.<\/p>\n

The previous Guinness World Record for the largest Honda car parade was set in 2010, when 569 units of the Beat, another two-seat convertible minicar produced from 1991 to 1996,\u00a0 participated.<\/p>\n

In a statement, Honda said the S660 \u201cwas developed to pursue the joy of driving and is still loved by many fans. It continues to be cherished and driven nationwide to this day.\u201d<\/p>\n
